Otto Bremer awards Forada scholarship

The Otto Bremer Foundation recently awarded 81 grants totaling $4,581,165 in July. Forty-eight grants totaling $2,909,114 support programs and organizations in Minnesota.

The Otto Bremer Foundation recently awarded 81 grants totaling $4,581,165 in July. Forty-eight grants totaling $2,909,114 support programs and organizations in Minnesota.

A grant totaling $28,219 was awarded to the Forada Fire Department to purchase equipment for the community fire department to be used for grass fires, search and rescue.

The Otto Bremer Foundation assists people in achieving full economic, civic and social participation in and for the betterment of their communities. In 2011, the foundation provided approximately $30 million in grants and program-related investments.
