Small town provides a big, bouncy time
Numbering about 185 people, the city of Forada may not be that big population-wise, but it does know how to deliver some king-sized fun.

The community held its annual “Forada Days” celebration over the weekend.
Activities included live music, golf scramble, a 5K run/walk, flea market, kids’ pedal pull, firefighter water wars, dunk tank, parade, games, turtle races, a street dance, pancake breakfast and something new – pig races. In between the races, the crowd was entertained by those daring enough to take a ride on a bouncing inflatable horse.

Forada wasn’t the only community that kicked up its heels over the weekend. Brandon also held its Mid-Summer Festival.
