'The Woodcutter and the Fox' to air Sunday

Lakes Area Theatre (LAT) in Alexandria is offering the following productions this week:

ON THE AIR

What is the penalty for breaking a blood oath? In the tradition of Aesop's Fables, local playwright Kent Garlinghouse's The Woodcutter and the Fox looks at the answers to such questions. The show airs on Sunday, August 5 at 12:30 p.m. on KXRA 1490 AM.

Woodcutter opens a world of talking animals, castles, a king and queen, a speaking choir and, yes, a crafty fox.

The show stars Nancy Klepetka, Kip Sundlee, Curt Ostenson, Betsy Ostenson and Ben Klipfel, with Karen Gladen, Gayle Harrington and Isabelle Hartokolis as the choir. Music is by Bob Piotrowski and sound effects are performed by Daniel Roers.
