Garfield Summer Celebration set

The following is a schedule of events for the Garfield Summer Celebration on August 11.

Saturday, August 11

• 7 to 10 a.m. St. John's Church pancake feed

• City Wide Garage Sales

• 11 a.m. City Parade

• 12 to 3 p.m. Pork chop and corn on the cob dinner served by the Garfield Fire Department

• 12:30 to 5 p.m. Beer Garden at City Park sponsored by the Garfield Fire Department

• 12 to 4 p.m. St. Luke's Church pie and ice cream social

• Kids Tractor Pull

• 1:30 p.m. Kids Water Ball Fights near City Park followed by Fire Department Water Ball Fights

• Bean Bag Tournament at City Park

• 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Fire Station dance featuring Sweet Siren
