Letter - Bales is available whenever needed

To the editor:

I live in District 3, so my commissioner is Bev Bales and in my opinion, she is one of the best. She takes an active part in every county activity that she can. Bev makes herself available wherever there is need. She is an asset to the entire county.

I have lived on Section 36 of Orange Township for 75 years and I do not ever recall a time when all five commissioners were up for election at once because of redistricting. In my 26 years of work with the Sauk River Watershed District, I have worked with all five of the county boards and I feel that my county board is head and shoulders ahead of the other four counties for providing the services so well at the cost we pay.

Have they ever made a mistake? Of course they have. Who among us has not, but you can be assured they will not make the same mistake twice.

There is a lot to be said for continuity and for that reason, I hope the voters will give our existing county board the opportunity to continue on the path they have begun.
