Letter - Stratton has a record of proven leadership

To the editor:

This year there are choices to be made when voting for county commissioner, but only one superior choice that can build this community. James “Jim” Stratton is the responsible choice for voters.

Jim has spent countless years as a district executive in the Boy Scouts, teaching youth to be leaders. Besides Scouts, Jim spends hours helping out other youth groups. He helped start the Fire Department Explorer Post, a canoe building venture crew, a high adventure explorer crew, and countless others.

His record has proven leadership and he knows what needs to be done to lead successfully. Jim can help keep young people like myself involved in current programs as well as work on more for this county’s youth.

I would challenge my classmates that have turned 18 to register to vote, get involved and informed so you can vote with confidence this fall.

Let us work toward a better community. Let’s vote for Jim Stratton.
