Kmart to host community garage sale

Kmart in Alexandria will host its first community garage sale in the Kmart parking lot on August 25 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. with setup time from 6 to 7:45 a.m. Everyone is welcome.

With a donation of nonperishable food items that will go to the local food shelf, a sale spot is free.

Advertising is taken care of. The lots will be filled with garage salers, crafters, vendors, a farmers market, school fundraisers, Boy and Girl Scouts and bake salers.
