Letter - Just an excuse to disrespect and dismiss
I was extremely surprised to read “It feeds the stereotype” attributed to me in the article about the “racism word war.”(July 25)
To the editor:
I was extremely surprised to read “It feeds the stereotype” attributed to me in the article about the “racism word war.”(July 25)
I did make the comment during a meeting on July 18. It was directed at those who saw what they wanted to see in the story on June 29 — an excuse to disrespect and dismiss the minority in the news.
To feed their own stereotype, they have to neglect the many other stories and pictures of white people who break the law. I truly do not know how they do it.
