Out and About - Around the county this week: Bike MS TRAM

Eight hundred and fifty riders sped over the finish line at the Douglas County Fairgrounds on Friday, after a five-day bike ride to raise money to end multiple sclerosis (MS), a disease of the central nervous system that affects more than 17,000 people in parts of the Midwest.
The Bike MS: TRAM Ride started in Alexandria on July 22 and ran through Friday. The ride covered a total of 250 miles through northern and central Minnesota, stopping overnight at sites including Bemidji, Walker, Park Rapids, Wadena and Fergus Falls.
