UPDATE MONDAY: Driver dies after rollover near Holmes City
A 40-year-old Starbuck man died after his vehicle rolled over off Highway 114 near Holmes City in Douglas County Sunday.
A 40-year-old Starbuck man died after his vehicle rolled over off Highway 114 near Holmes City in Douglas County Sunday.
Tracy Wendt was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Blazer north on Highway 114 near the intersection with County Road 26 at about 4:20 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The Blazer left the roadway and vaulted.
Wendt, who was not wearing a seat belt, was airlifted to the St. Cloud Hospital where he later died.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
