The Rockats to perform free concert Thursday
The Rockats will perform at the Red Willow Arts Coalition free concert on Thursday, August 2 at 7 p.m. on the lawn at the Douglas County Courthouse in Alexandria.

The Rockats are a rock and roll trio based in Underwood. Members include Alvin Olson on drums, Justin Retzlaff on bass guitar and Alan Thompson on lead guitar.
They play a variety of music from the 1950s, 60s and 70s, performing everything from Nat King Cole and Dean Martin to Neil Young and Bob Dylan, with a heavy dose of Buddy Holly and the Beatles in between.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. In the event of inclement weather, listen to KXRA 1400 AM for cancellation information.
The series is sponsored by Anderson Funeral Home and Elden's Fresh Foods.
The Red Willow Arts Coalition is a nonprofit organization with a mission to provide the community with access to more musical experiences.
