Consumer Credit Counseling Service re-approved

Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) of The Village Family Service Center was recently re-approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) as a housing counseling agency.

As a HUD-approved housing counseling agency, CCCS of The Village provides a variety of housing counseling services throughout North Dakota and Minnesota. These include mortgage delinquency and default resolution counseling, pre-purchase counseling, rental housing counseling, pre-purchase education workshops and home equity conversion mortgage counseling.

In the re-approval letter, Celilia Ross, HUD acting director, wrote, “CCCS of The Village is an important community partner with HUD by helping expand homeownership opportunities, improve access to affordable housing and preserve homeownership.”

CCCS has offices across North Dakota and Minnesota, including Alexandria.
