A wild ride for semi

A semi driver traveling east on Interstate 94 about seven miles from Alexandria lost control of the vehicle.

A semi driver traveling east on Interstate 94 about seven miles from Alexandria lost control of the vehicle Saturday shortly before 5 p.m. The semi went into the ditch, crossed back over into the median and then crashed on its side. The driver, Michael Wiegand of Fargo, North Dakota was transported by ambulance for medical treatment and later released, according to the State Patrol.
