Red House Records will present its fourth annual music festival on Saturday, August 4 at Hobgoblin Music (920 State Highway 19) in Red Wing, MN.

Running from 1 to 7:30 pm, Red House Barnfest will feature a whole day of the finest folk, bluegrass, Americana and blues music with performances by national artists like Lucy Kaplansky, Bill Staines, Dean Magraw and John Williams, Natalia Zukerman, Drew Nelson, The High 48's, Black Audience and more, in addition to the MN Songwriter Spotlight, featuring soulful singer Jon Rodine. There will also be an expanded KIDFEST with special children's activities and a family stage with performances by Open Eye Figure Theatre, Jayanthi Kyle and The Crybabies and Bill Staines. Hearkening back to the days of Red House's Summerfolk festivals, this will be a fun family-friendly event in a beautiful farm setting just outside of downtown Red Wing, named "One of the Top 25 Historic Destinations in the World" by National Geographic.. Although families are welcome to bring picnics and coolers, there will also be a variety of food vendors serving BBQ, veggie wraps, smoothies, curries and organic gourmet popsicles from the new local company 10,000 Licks.

Tickets to Red House Barnfest are on sale now at www.redhouserecords.com/barnfest.html and are also available at Electric Fetus (Minneapolis), Ginkgo Coffeehouse (St. Paul) and Hobgoblin Music (Red Wing). More festival information available at (651) 644-4161.
