Cobber Corn Feed

Praise and Hymn Fest

Sunday, July 29: Lake Chippewa Covenant Church in Garfield is offering an old fashioned praise and hymn fest. It will include fellowship, old hymns and an ice cream social. The event begins at 2 p.m. The church is located 3 1/4 miles north of Garfield on County Road 12.

Pie and ice cream social

Sunday, July 29: First Lutheran Church of Kensington is offering its annual barbecue, pie and ice cream social from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Men's round table breakfast

Sunday, August 5: St. Ann's Church in Nelson is offering a breakfast of pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage and more. The breakfast goes from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Adults are $6.50, children ages 5 to 12 are $3 and children younger than 5 are free. Proceeds go to St. Ann's youth program.
