In March, Saulsbury was diagnosed with aplastic anemia. As a result, she has been unable to work, has received numerous transfusions and made multiple trips to Mayo in Rochester. She will possibly need a bone marrow transplant.
Saulsbury is a lifetime resident of the Kensington area. She graduated from Hoffman-Kensington High School in 1987. Her children, Emma (9) and Nathan (7), attend West Central Area School in Kensington. She is the organist at First Lutheran in Kensington and the office manager at West Central Metal Fab, Inc. in Alexandria.
The silent auction committee is asking for donations for her benefit. To donate an item or basket, contact Marcy Holl at (320) 965-2291 or (320) 304-4052 or Kimberly Brakken at (320) 528-6283.
Items can be dropped off, or call (320) 986-2873 for pick up.
