Flower baskets brighten downtown
Flower baskets have been brightening up downtown Alexandria this summer.

Flower baskets have been brightening up downtown Alexandria this summer.
The flowers were planted in February as two-inch seedlings. Since then, they’ve grown into large beautiful flowers. Paul Meland, Becky Christensen, Joe Korkowski and Jeff Meland of the Downtown Merchants Association distributed the flower baskets and the Douglas County Parks Department put them up.
