Habitat warehouse sale to help fund homes

Habitat for Humanity of Douglas County (HFHDC) will hold a warehouse sale this Saturday, July 21 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Items at the sale will include cabinets, trim, interior and exterior doors, windows, sinks, furniture and some miscellaneous items.

All items were donated to HFHDC by local supporters. All proceeds go to fund the building of homes for families in need of safe, decent and affordable housing in Douglas County.

The sale will be located at two separate locations: the HFHDC Warehouse, 1605 Melvina Lane SW, Alexandria (shoppers are asked to park on the road and keep the driveway clear for loading) and 1211 N Nokomis NE, Alexandria (use the north door).
