Dr. Lew Sterrett to speak at several community events

The speaker this month is Dr. Lew Sterrett. Having grown up on a Pennsylvania farm, Sterrett attended Penn State University and majored in the animal industry field. While there, he was confronted with his need for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Sterrett later earned a master's degree in divinity and a doctorate in leadership training. Throughout his lifetime, he has served as a director of a major camp and conference center, a founder of a discipleship school, a former president of CHA (an instructor safety certification program) and a certified youth, marriage and family counselor.
Sterrett will host other events throughout the weekend at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in the Erickson Pavilion. Sessions are Friday, July 20 at 7 p.m. ($7 per person), Saturday, July 21 at 1 p.m. ($7 per person) and Sunday, July 22 at 1 p.m. (freewill offering).
On Saturday, July 21, he will have a breakfast for men only at 6:30 a.m. ($10 per person) Prices listed are at the door on the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased in advance at a reduced rate at Mustard Seed Bookstore or Glenwood State Bank.
