Millerville is proud of its very own butter, created by the Millerville Coop Creamery Association. So proud, in fact, that an entire celebration has been centered around the creamy, yellow stuff!

Millerville will host Millerville Butter Days the weekend of July 20-22.
A variety of events are planned for all ages, including a bean bag tournament, street dance, pedal tractor pull, children’s games, parade, music, and of course, a butter carving contest!
Millerville Butter Days
On July 20-22, the city of Millerville will host the Millerville Butter Days. Following is a list of events:
Friday, July 20
6 p.m.: Bean Bag Tournament at Millerville Park. Two person teams, $25 per team. If interested, call Danny at (320) 808-3365.
8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.: Street Dance with Sweet Siren performing. Food and refreshments provided by Millerville Community Club.
Saturday, July 21
10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Taking Butter Carving Contest entries. Children (12 and younger), adult (13 and older) categories judging will take place at 3:30 p.m.
Noon: Pedal Tractor Pull at Milelrville Park, sponsored by JB Tractors.
2 p.m.: Parade. Line up at 1 p.m. To pre-register, call Deb at (320) 834-4703.
After Parade: Children's games at Millerville Park - Turtle races, bungee run, bounce house, face painting and more. There will be a bike give-away and free cheese curds and malt stand; Brandon History Center - Legion displaying Millerville photos; plant sale at Millerville Park, provided by Anni Webb; music entertainment by Pure Country; beer gardens and butter give-away.
4 to 7 p.m.: Pork Chop Feed at Millerville Park, provided by the Douglas County Pork Producers.
Sunday, July 22
11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Seven Dolors Church Bazaar; Mass at 10:30 a.m.; chicken and ham dinner; bingo; kids' games; raffle items; live music by Pure Country; beer garden.
DID YOU KNOW?
Millerville is located about 20 miles northwest of Alexandria. It was established as a township in 1867 and was named for a prominent German settler, John Miller, who lived in the area. It has a current population of 106.
