Get ready for Tornado Days in Miltona

The 42nd anniversary celebration of Miltona Tornado Days will take place on July 20-22.

The event includes a variety of activities for all ages, including a craft sale, bake sale, pork chop feed, musical entertainment, farmers’ market, children’s tractor pull, a baseball game, martial arts demonstrations, water fights, a parade, street dance and more.

The 42nd anniversary celebration of Miltona Tornado Days will take place on July 20-22. Following is a list of events:

Friday, July 20

4 to 8 p.m.: Pork chop feed at Faith Lutheran Church.

4 to 8 p.m.: Craft sale in downtown Miltona, Overby Building. To participate, call (320) 852-9899.

7:30 to 10:30 p.m.: On stage DJ and Karaoke at LJ's Food and Liquor.

Saturday, July 21

9 a.m.: VFW Auxiliary Bake Sale, Miltona VFW

9 a.m. to noon: Farmers' Market at Miltona Community Center parking lot.

9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Craft Sale in downtown Mialton, Overby Building.

9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Community Bake Sale in downtown Miltona, Overby Building. Funds raised donated to the Spruce Hill Foundation.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Jail (Miltona Liquor Store).

9 a.m. until "it" happens: Messy Bessy, downtown Miltona.

10 a.m.: Kiddie Games sponsored by the County Line Ramblers 4-H Club.

11 a.m.: Veterans' Memorial dedication in downtown park.

11 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Beer Gardens, downtown Miltona.

11:15 a.m.: Martial Arts Demonstration at Cornerstone Martial Arts.

After Parade: Button Drawing.

1 to 3 p.m.: Water Fights in front of the Fire Department, featuring area fire departments.

2 p.m.: Miltona Tigers Baseball at Bernie Steidl Baseball Field.

4 p.m.: Kids Tractor Pull sponsored by BlackRidge Bank, Miltona.

5 to 7 p.m.: ATV and Lawn Tractor Pull, downtown Miltona.

5:30 to 8 p.m.: VFW Pork Dinner, Miltona VFW.

8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.: Beer Garden, Food Concessions and Street Dance, sponsored by the Miltona Fire Department, featuring The Killer Hayseeds.

Sunday, July 22

8 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Craft Sale, downtown Miltona, Overby Building.

8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Dad's Belgian Waffles, sponsored by Miltona Lions Club at Community Center.

9:30 to 10:30 a.m.: Church service at Miltona Baseball Field. Bring lawn chairs.

2 to 6 p.m.: Dance and raffle prize drawings. LJ's Food and Liquore. Don't need to be present to win. Winners posted in The Parkers Prairie Independent and at www.miltona.org.
