The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has released the causes of death for two individuals who died in April in a murder-suicide case.
Sharon Christina Love, 38, was found dead in her Alexandria home on April 19. Love’s death has been ruled a homicide; a result of multiple traumatic injuries due to assault.
Evidence indicates manual strangulation, blunt force traumatic injuries, closed head trauma and sharp force injury.
Her assailant, David Dewain Everett, 51, of Osakis committed suicide by exsanguination (blood loss) due to sharp force injuries.
Everett was seen leaving Love’s home in her car on April 18. He was later discovered dead in a storage unit at Westside Storage in Osakis. The two were reportedly once in a relationship and going through a break up.
