Fight at Depot Express Tuesday sends one to hospital

Alexandria Police responded to a report of a fight inside Depot Express, 104 Broadway Street, in Alexandria at 1:20 a.m. on July 10.

Alexandria police responded to a report of a fight inside Depot Express, 104 Broadway Street, in Alexandria at 1:20 a.m. on July 10.

Derrick Bradley, 34, of Alexandria and Christopher Patton, 30, of Wheaton were attempting to exit the Depot Express parking lot in a white vehicle when police arrived at the scene.

Patton and Bradley were involved in a physical altercation with a 23-year-old male victim from Alexandria, witnesses told police.

While witnesses were being interviewed, Bradley suffered a medical condition and was transported by North Memorial Ambulance to the Douglas County Hospital emergency room. His medical condition was not life threatening and his medical status is unknown at this time.

The fight occurred over a disagreement regarding a game of pool.

The victim suffered minor injuries and refused to cooperate with the investigation, according to police.

Bradley and Patton are being charged with disorderly conduct.
