Grimes misses cut at U.S. Women's Open

Alexandria Golf Club director of programming Lisa Grimes missed the cut at the 67th U.S. Women’s Open at Blackwolf Run in Kohler, Wisconsin last week, finishing with a two-day total of 161.

Grimes shot an 83 on day one and a 78 on day two, falling short of the 149 needed to advance to the final two rounds.

The former Cardinal golfer had two birdies in her two rounds, and hit 16 of the 36 greens in regulation.

Na Yeon Choi won the tournament crown as she shot a 7-under-par 281 for the four-day event.
