On Sunday, July 8 at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. and Monday, July 9 at 7 p.m., mural artist Paul Oman will paint as Pastor Phil Blom preaches.
Dr. Nancy Koester will present on the topic "Christians Who Have Changed Your Life" from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Mount Carmel on the following dates:
Monday, July 9: "The Story of Handel's Messiah"
Tuesday, July 10: Paul Oman paints Handel's Messiah while Koester reads related scripture or plays Handel's music
Wednesday, July 11: The author of Uncle Tom's Cabin, "Harriet Beecher Stowe: Her Words Changed the World"
Thursday, July 12: "Abraham Lincoln's Faith" and "The Battle Hymn of the Republic"
Friday, July 13 (at 9 a.m.): "Martin Luther King as Christian leader"
Come for one or more sessions. Each morning session is $20. Lunch can be purchased for an additional $8 per person. Pay at the front desk in the lodge/dining hall.
