LCMC plans regional gathering in Redwood Falls
Anyone wondering what Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC) is about and members are encouraged to come to a regional gathering on Saturday, July 28 at the Redwood Area Community Center in Redwood Falls, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Anyone wondering what Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC) is about and members are encouraged to come to a regional gathering on Saturday, July 28 at the Redwood Area Community Center in Redwood Falls, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Registration is from 9 to 10 a.m. The sessions will start at 10 a.m. with guest speakers Rev. Mark Vander Tuig, the National Service Cooridinator, and Rev. Kent Wallace who will be speaking on the DNA and grassroots of the LCMC. The event will end with a worship service with Holy Communion. LCMC is in its 12th year.
Pre-registration is $10 which includes the noon meal and coffee and cookies throughtout the day. Make your check out to Epiphany Lutheran District, the host of this event. Mail it to Jane Moody, Treas.; Box 213; Lamberton Mn 56152. The deadline is Wednesday, July 18 in order to give a count to the caterer.
For hotel accommodations call the Select Inn and say Epiphany District LCMC for special rates. All reservations must be made by Saturday, July 2l for the special rates.
