Three players were added to the field Thursday for the 2012 U.S. Women’s Open Championship at Blackwolf Run July 5-8.
Lisa Grimes, Alexandria Golf Club director of instruction, along with Aimee Neff of Carmel, Indiana and Angel Yin of Arcadia, California boost the field to 152 players. Yin is the youngest player in the field at 13 years of age.
Grimes teed off yesterday, Thursday, at 12:41 p.m. Her threesome included Jaye Marie Green, an amateur from Boca Raton, Florida; and Lizette Salas of Azusa, California.
