Engagement - Larson and Kangas

Sheldon and Julie Larson of Osakis and Kevin and Becky Kangas of Bemidji proudly announce the engagement of their children, Kristie Larson to Simon Kangas.

Kristie graduated from Osakis High School in 2007, Oak Hills Christian College in 2010 with an associate's arts degree and graduated in 2011 from Northwest Technical College with an associate's of science in nursing. Kristie is now working full time at Sanford Clinic in family medicine as a phone triage nurse and also teaches piano lessons at Bemidji Music Studio.

Simon graduated from Lakeview Academy in 2006. Simon is owner of Master of Asbestos Service and also a general contractor with the family business, Kevin Kangas Construction Incorporated.

An August 4, 2012 wedding in Long Prairie at the First Baptist Church is being planned. They will reside in Bemidji.
