UPDATE WEDNESDAY 4:30 P.M.: Woman stabbed in Alexandria, arrests made

A woman was stabbed multiple times early Wednesday morning in Alexandria.

A woman was stabbed multiple times early Wednesday morning in Alexandria.

The Alexandria Police Department (APD) received a call from the 6th Avenue East and Jefferson Street area around 2:20 a.m. An incident involving baseball bats and multiple parties was reported.

Further investigation determined a 25-year-old female victim had been punched, kicked and stabbed multiple times. She was brought to Douglas County Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The APD arrested three suspects who are in custody at Douglas County Jail.

Mario Duprie Hutchinson, 22, of Alexandria; Yasmine Angelique Chumley, 20, of Alexandria and one 16-year-old juvenile female are being held on second degree assault charges.

Douglas County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
