CORRECTION
The article “Need your ID to vote?” in the June 22 issue of the Echo Press (online as “Voter ID amendment: Minnesota’s version of ‘Papers please’”) referred to the proposed ballot question as the amendment.
The ballot question reads:
“Shall the Minnesota Constitution be amended to require all voters to present valid photo identification to vote and to require the state to provide free identification to eligible voters, effective July 1, 2013? Yes ….. No …..”
