The community and visitors lined Broadway Street in Alexandria on Saturday for a grand parade as part of the 137th annual Minnesota State Fire Department Association (MSFDA) Conference.
Several fire departments from across the state rolled their rigs in the parade, including Brainerd and Bemidji and closer-to-home departments – Alexandria, Evansville, Osakis, Forada, Parkers Prairie and more.
Marching bands and community groups also took part – everything from the Fergus Falls Marching Band and Shriners ATV team to the Minnesota National Guard and kids’ go-cart racers.
