Verizon Wireless expands 4G LTE network in Alexandria
Verizon Wireless has expanded its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network in Alexandria, enabling customers in more areas of Minnesota to take advantage of the nation’s largest 4G LTE network.
Verizon Wireless has expanded its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network in Alexandria, enabling customers in more areas of Minnesota to take advantage of the nation’s largest 4G LTE network.
The expanded 4G LTE coverage area in Alexandria includes north to the chain of lakes, south to State Highway 29 to County Road 4, east on Interstate 94 through Osakis to Sauk Centre and west on I-94 to State Highway 114/County Road 40.
With the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network, customers can enjoy the best experience in wireless data usage when they stream video, share music and photos, download files and surf the Web with speeds up to 10 times faster than before.

The company first launched its 4G LTE network on December 5, 2010, and since then, Verizon Wireless has introduced its 4G LTE network to more than two-thirds of the U.S. population, including Duluth, Moorhead, St. Cloud, Rochester and more cities in Minnesota.
