NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

COUNTY OF DOUGLAS

STATE OF MINNESOTA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County Board of Commissioners of Douglas County, Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at approximately 9:05 o’clock a.m. at the Douglas County Court House, 305-8th Avenue West, Alexandria, Minnesota, 56308, regarding the following matters: (a) modification of the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project No. 3 (“Project Area”) to reflect increased geographic area, increased project costs and increased bonding authority within the Project Area; (b) modification of the Tax Increment Financing Plans for Tax Increment Financing Districts Nos. 3-2 to 3-8 to reflect increased geographic area, increased project costs and increased bonding authority within the Project Area; (c) creation of Tax Increment Financing District No. 3-9; and (d) adoption of a Tax Increment Financing Plan, all pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.001 to 469.047 and 469.174 to 469.179, inclusive. Copies of the documentation relating to the above proposed actions will be on file and available for public inspection in the County Auditor’s office.

The property proposed to be included in Tax Increment Financing District No. 3-9 includes parcels 03-0260-000 and 03-0262-000, which are located South of Highway 28 and West of Highway 29 in Lake Mary Township. The attached map reflects Development District No. 1, the area in which tax increment may be spent, and Tax Increment Financing District No. 3-9, the area from which tax increment is generated.

All interested persons may appear at the hearing and present their views orally or in writing.
