Letter - Close-minded thinking causes hatred

To the editor:
In response to letter to editor from Ron Zaun [Echo Press May 30, 2012; “We must demand a Christian society”]:
It is the kind of closed-minded thinking and egocentricity that is encouraged in such an igno-rant letter that causes the hatred and violence that happens around our world every second of every day.
As an active Christian, I am disgusted by such absurdity and offended in Jesus' name and that of my fellow Christians.
For everyone’s sake, I am grateful that God is merciful and forgiving.
