Learn to ‘live life to the fullest’

Douglas County TRIAD is presenting the fifth annual seminar called "Living Life to the Fullest" on Thursday, June 28 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Mary's Education Center in Alexandria.
The event is free and open to the public. Registration begins at 9 a.m. There will be time to have coffee, visit vendors and have a free blood pressure screening.
Multiple sessions have been organized throughout the day, including:
9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Choose one of the following sessions - acupuncture, exercise, fire safety and raised garden beds.
10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Sessions include fire safety, home safety, Medicare and respiratory care.
11:15 a.m. to noon. Lunch is served free for anyone age 55 and better or $5 for all others.
12 to 12:45 p.m. Sessions include computer safety, understanding Syndrome X, Senior Linkage Line and dietary supplements and prescription interactions.
1 to 1:45 p.m. Sessions include computer safety, weather, aging eye and back health.
2 p.m. Door prizes will be given away. Must be present to win.
