4-H summer day camps scheduled
This year, four 4-H day camps are scheduled for kids who have completed grades K-4.
This year, four 4-H day camps are scheduled for kids who have completed grades K-4.
* June 27: Animal Crackers - Alexandria City Park. Learn about different animals with scales, wings and everything in between.
* July 18: Critters and Bugs - Lake Osagi Park, Osakis. Learn about little critters and all kinds of bugs.
* August 1: Farmtastic Fun - Evansville Elementary School. Explore the world of farm life and interact with farm animals.
* August 17: County Fair - Douglas County Fairgrounds. Spend the day at the County Fair. Go on barn tours, enjoy a treat at the food stand and play games.
Day camps go from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Youth are asked to bring their own sack lunch for noon meal.
Registration is $7 per person for each day camp or $25 for all four camps. Register one week prior to camp.
