Nominees sought for county senior citizen award
Nominations from county residents are now being sought for the 2012 Outstanding Senior Citizen Award for Douglas County.
Nominations from county residents are now being sought for the 2012 Outstanding Senior Citizen Award for Douglas County.
The award recognizes outstanding senior citizens who have contributed their time and talent to benefit their community after reaching the age of 65.
Official nomination forms are available on the county fair website, www.mndouglascofair.com, or by contacting Kathy Franson at (320) 491-8918 or Rachel Barduson at (320) 762-0382.
Nomination forms can also be picked up at the Alexandria Senior Center or the Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce.
The winners will be honored at the Douglas County Fair on Thursday, August 16.
