To the editor:
Project Appleseed is coming to Minnesota. A national program that teaches us the debt we owe to our forefathers, it is the sole focus and activity of the Revolutionary War Veterans Association, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
It teaches history in the story of our nation’s birth, lessons of April 19, 1775 and marksmanship. It reconnects Americans wit the people and events of Colonial America.
All participants are taught history and the skills that allow a rifleman to be accurate out to 500 yards. It’s for beginners and experienced shooters.
Instructors are some of the most qualified in the country with more than 125 hours of training. Attendees can be assured of the highest level of safety and a rich learning experience.
It will be offered in Alexandria June 23-24, in Hinckley on July 7-8, and also later in Winona and Wells.
