Golf: Nodland honored by Card Foundation/Cap Paciotti tournament

The Cardinal Athletic Foundation/Cap Paciotti Memorial golf tournament will be held Saturday, June 16 at the Alexandria Golf Club.

This year’s honoree is Rich Nodland of Alexandria, who, along with Paciotti, helped create the Cardinal Athletic Foundation.

Married to Colleen, the two have three children – Jennifer, Richard Junior and Ryan – as well as three grandchildren – Will, Wade and Wyatt.

Nodland is now the president and owner of Nodland Construction Company, a third generation family business that has been in operation for 95 years.

Along with his work on the Cardinal Athletic Foundation, Nodland has helped to make improvements in the football field, including the installation of new lights.

He has also been instrumental in building the weight room at JHS and has helped coach youth basketball and football.
