The congregation of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Garfield, a Lutheran Congregation in Mission for Christ (LCMC), broke ground on April 15 for a new family education wing.

The project is the second stage of the church's passing on "Faith for the Future and Praise for God's Promises."

"We know how vital sound Biblical teaching is to our members, families, community and others as they prepare for a life lived in Christ Jesus in a world needing to hear the good news of salvation," Gran noted. "Soon St. Luke's will offer an expanded education wing with hopes to extend the existing fellowship hall as well."

For more information or to donate to the project, visit the website www.ocfusa.org/donate/capital-campaign/commitment/ or call (320) 834-2285.

Worship services at St. Luke's Church are held Sundays at 8:30 and 11 a.m., with fellowship and educational opportunities at 9:45 a.m.
