Airport Day offers an assortment of aircraft

The Alexandria-Chandler Field Airport Day will take place on Saturday, June 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event will serve pork chop or hot dog meals, which include beans, chips and pop. Pork chops are $6 and hot dogs are $5.

An assortment of aircraft, including WWII aircraft and the Life Link III medical air ambulance, and hangers will be on display. The aircraft will also be judged. Operation Happy Note will provide live music.

There will be booths by Tanis Air Products, University of North Dakota, Minnesota Paramotor and many more. Alexandria Aviation will give air rides.

The event will take place at 2604 Aga Drive, Alexandria. In the event of rain, it will be held Sunday, June 3.
