Card boys' golf: Storm, Wadi fall in Section individual play
The Alexandria doubles team fell 6-1, 6-2
Austin Storm and Mack Wadi saw their tennis season end Tuesday as they lost in the opening round of the Section 8AA individual tournament, falling to the top seeded squad from Becker.
Storm and Wadi fell to Jake Toedter and Kurt Hultgren 6-1, 6-2 to close out their season.
“The guys never got on track and had a hard time putting points together,” said head coach Dave Ronning. “The Becker duo was on their game and made our guys earn everything they got.
“Austin and Mack had a great season and made some good memories,” he added. “They played in some of the toughest spots all season, and my hat goes off to them for being two of the leaders on our team.
