Jenna Collins of Alexandria received the Faculty Scholarship and a Music Performance Scholarship from Concordia College, Moorhead. Collins, a June 2012 graduate of Jefferson High School in Alexandria, is the daughter of Sharon and Joe Bridges of Alexandria. High school activities in which Collins has participated include Jefferson Carolers, Les Marquise, Rainbow Strings, one-act play, spring musical, National Honor Society, Knowledge Bowl and Amnesty International.
Ryan Jensen of Alexandria has been awarded the Willa Hamlin International Study Abroad Scholarship from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Foundation. The scholarships range from $250-$1,000 and are awarded to students who were accepted into the study abroad program. Jensen plans to travel to South Africa.
