The Alexandria Beetles open up the 2012 summer schedule at home tonight, Wednesday, with a game against the Thunder Bay Border Cats at 7:05 p.m.
The two teams will then wrap up the series on Thursday morning with an 11:05 first pitch.
Beetles players were scheduled to start coming into town on Monday afternoon before taking part in their first practice Tuesday evening. The Memorial Day Holiday pushed up the deadline for the Wednesday edition of the Echo Press before players arrived.
