Habitat for Humanity motorcycle ride to take place
The 6th annual Motorcycle Ride for Habitat for Humanity will take place Saturday, May 26 at Apol’s Harley-Davidson in Alexandria. There will be a gathering and refreshments at 10 a.m. Registration will start at 11 a.m. with the ride departing at noon.
The 6th annual Motorcycle Ride for Habitat for Humanity will take place Saturday, May 26 at Apol’s Harley-Davidson in Alexandria. There will be a gathering and refreshments at 10 a.m. Registration will start at 11 a.m. with the ride departing at noon.
The ride will be around 115 miles with two stops. The first stop will be Rune Stone Park in Kensington where brats and chips will be served. After a second stop at Leaf Valley Mercantile, the ride will conclude at Depot Express in Alexandria around 4:30 p.m. Door prizes donated by local merchants will be given out at the first two stops to registered riders.
The local A.B.A.T.E. of MN Freedom First Riders group is coordinating safety for the ride.

Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build or renovate decent, affordable housing. Volunteers provide most of the labor. Donations of money, land and materials are provided by individuals, organizations, churches, foundations and businesses.
