A 42-stroke advantage gave the Osakis boys’ golf team a huge boost of confidence heading into the Sub-section 5A meet Wednesday.
The Silverstreaks’ 343 at the pre-section meet Monday at Minnewaska was their best team score of the season, and once again, the squad was led by Paul Hartmann and Troy Asseln with rounds of 81 and 82, respectively.
Hartmann’s 81 earned him medalist honors.
Seth Strelow and Joey Kotek carded 90s, Nathan Arens 95 and Joey Garcia 96.
