Alex Blaser, the daughter of Todd and Rhonda Blaser of Alexandria, was awarded a $1,000 Best Buy scholarship. Recipients were selected based on academic achievement, community involvement and/or work experience. She plans to attend North Dakota State University in Fargo this fall.

Angela Lysfjord of Garfield was awarded a $1,000 Campus Honors scholarship from Bemidji State University. The scholarship is awarded to high school graduates who rank in the top 15 percent of their class with an ACT composite score of 23 or higher.

Kali Erlandson, daughter of Duane and Kari Erlandson of Alexandria, received a $4,000 University Scholarship from Minnesota State University-Moorhead. It is given to students with a composite ACT score of 24 to 25 and a high school rank in the top 50 percent; or a composite ACT score of 21 to 23 and a high school rank in the top 10 percent.
