Alexandria man injured in motorcycle crash

An Alexandria man remains hospitalized following a motorcycle crash in Garfield Wednesday.

Jasper Wade Reisenauer was driving a motorcycle on County Road 82 near Sanstead Street at about 8 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle and was thrown to the ground, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.

Reisenauer, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered injuries and was transported to the Douglas County Hospital. He was later transferred to St. Cloud Hospital where he was listed in fair condition Friday morning.

The crash is under investigation.

Agencies responding included the Garfield Fire Department and First Responders, North Ambulance and the sheriff’s office.
