Vacation Bible School

A summer kids’ event called “Sky” will be hosted at Alexandria Covenant Church July 23-27. At Sky, faith and imagination soar as kids discover that everything is possible with God.

Kids participate in Bible learning activities, sing songs, play teamwork-building games, make and enjoy treats, experience Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them to trust God, and test out “Sciency-Fun Gizmos.”

Kids will also learn to look for evidence of God all around them through “God Sightings.” Each day concludes with Fly Away Finale, a celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned.

Sky participants will join an international mission’s effort to stop malaria in the African country of Mali, sending more than 1 million mosquito nets to protect Malian children.

Sky is for kids from 3-and-a-half-years-old to 5th grade graduates and will run from 9 to 11:45 a.m. each day. For more information, call (320) 763-5659. VBS registration is available at the church office or online at www.alexandriacovenant.org.
