Letter - God gave us spiritual fences, laws, boundaries

Has anyone noticed that life as usual isn’t happening for the average person in the USA? Things are different than we’d like at home, in church, and in politics. Prices are rapidly moving up in the grocery stores, but wages aren’t. The current administration is holding the line on gas until the November elections; on purpose.

To the editor:

Has anyone noticed that life as usual isn’t happening for the average person in the USA? Things are different than we’d like at home, in church, and in politics. Prices are rapidly moving up in the grocery stores, but wages aren’t. The current administration is holding the line on gas until the November elections; on purpose. There is a wonderful video where you can find out why. Take some of your precious time and Google Thrive. View the second half, and it will give you answers concerning why the money is where it’s at, and who is responsible. There is a root cause.

Realize that there is a personality-spiritual atmosphere that goes with every nation. It can be shifted in various directions, depending on who we elect. With Bill Clinton, America got sexual promiscuity. With Obama, America got deception.

God gave us spiritual fences, laws and boundaries to protect us. When we go outside of those boundaries, we get hit. It all involves personal choices. The most important of all choices is our free will to choose where we’ll spend eternity.

We just did national Day of Prayer Week and should soon see which God is the strongest. I love Romans 1:21, which tells us Christians how to keep our minds full of God’s light in these hard days. Magnify God; talk about Him, be thankful. Don’t let wrong thoughts and feelings live inside you, unless you (Christians) want to go down the road to where the end of that chapter says you’ll go. Read it. It’s rock solid truth. Start practicing right, and you’ll be amazed at how much it helps. Consider God, family and country.
